Herman Oosterwijk, MS, MBA
 Herman has close to 20 years experience in the PACS field both working for vendors (Philips, AT&T and Kodak) and as a consultant/trainer being the principal for the OTech, Inc. Health Care Technology Consulting firm. He has published extensively in many publications, wrote the most popular textbooks on PACS and DICOM, and speaks at many conferences around the world on the subject of PACS. He actively participates in both the DICOM and HL7 standardization effort and is part of the adjunct faculty at the University of North Texas. Herman brings to PARCA his knowledge on the PACS subject matter, specializing in the connectivity aspects, in addition to his experience teaching on the subject both academically as commercially.

Edward M. Smith, ScD, FACNP
 Edward is Professor at the Department of Imaging Sciences of the University of Rochester Medical Center. Ed has been involved with PACS for many years both from a user and consultant perspective. He has published and taught extensively about this subject. Ed is also the program and course director of the many PACS meetings held every year in San Antonio. Because of his broad experience and involvement with the PACS field, Ed is an excellent contributor to PARCA.
